At the 62nd International Film Festival in Berlin four nordmedia supported projects will appear in various festival sections. In addition, nine nordmedia-supported films will be presented at the screenings of the European Film Market (EFM) to an international business audience. At the European Film Market, the central business centre in the Martin-Gropius-Bau during the Festival, nordmedia will be informing people about opportunities for film support in Niedersachsen and Bremen. nordmedia traditionally appears at the Berlinale with a shared stand together with Focus Germany, the joint organisation of German film support institutions.

About 500 experienced international producers, film financiers, sales agents and distributors as well as broadcasting and funding representatives, come together to initiate international co-productions. In addition, nordmedia as a member of NSSP co-hosts amongst others the reception of the European Film Commission Network (EUFCN) at the Landesvertretung Berlin-Brandenburg. Producers from Europe will learn more about the North Sea Screen Partners network and the North Sea region as film location.
