The Hanseatic city of Bremen presented itself in the best light with sunny, warm weather: 30 script writers and producers from the North Sea region spent two intensive days with experienced award-winning speakers. Author, screenwriter and director Brendan Foley gave an insight view of the script writing process and interaction with producers. Ned Dowd, a Hollywood production heavy weight ("Last of the Mohicans", "Apocalyptyco") reported on how scripts ought to be transferred to the scenes and producer Lars Hermann taught that both sides, producers and script writers, should always have an eye on the budget.
