All Partners meeting in Bergen, Norway

NSSP Partners

The fifth NSSP All Partners meeting was held in the hanseatic, World Heritage City of Bergen. The hosts were our Norwegian partners Western Norway Film Commission and Vestnorsk Filmsenter.
The meeting serves the exchange of news affecting the partners and the industry. Partners report on individual activities within their work package. Scheduled events and synergy opportunities were discussed.

Closing the Gap

Sigmund Elias Holm from Western Norway Film Commission also organized a seminar called "Closing the Gap". This seminar was part of a transmedia workshop supported by MEDIA where 10 projects from Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Spain, UK and Germany were pitched to international investors. There was held a panel session on criterias for equity investment, transmedia project development, marketing and distribution strategies. Jochen Coldewey, Head of development and funding at nordmedia was one of the participants on the panel. On October 20th the seminar was followed by a transmedia conference on crossmedia projects and digital distribution possibilities.

On October 19th the Bergen International Film Festival (BIFF) started where two nordmedia funded films were running in competition: THE GREEN WAVE and THE GUANTANAMO TRAP. THE GREEN WAVE received an honorable mention in the section Checkpoints.
