Preview of 'Burnout' in Jever on Sunday March 13th

nordmedia is pleased to welcome 'Burnout' producer Jost Hering to an exclusive sneak preview of his film as part of a nordmedia reception with the support of Jever Marketing and Tourism. 'Burnout' , directed by Verena S. Freytag, will be in German cinemas in early summer 2011. The film tells the story of Pelin, a young single mother, and her three children who live in the problem district of Berlin-Wedding and who are sent to a parent-child treatment centre in northern Germany to get their lives back on the rails from their chaotic everyday structure between youth, ministry, and family.

Jever is the county town of the district of Friesland in Lower Saxony, Germany and official health resort and one of the shooting locations of the drama 'Burnout', funded by nordmedia. By participating in the EU-funded project North Sea Screen Partners nordmedia focuses on drawing attention to the diversity of the coastal region through films which highlight the locations the region has to offer, such as Jever.
